This License Agreement governs the use of the Backentec Email Templates Module (the “Software”). By installing, copying, or using the Software, you agree to the terms of this License.

1. License Types

1.1 Agency License

  • • Allows use of the Software in multiple client projects.
  • • Each client project must belong to the same legal entity (agency).
  • • Redistribution or resale of the Software as a standalone product is strictly prohibited.

1.2 Single-Use License

  • • Allows use of the Software in one (1) Magento installation.
  • • Intended for end users and store owners.
  • • Transfer of the license to another project or installation is not permitted.

2. License Duration

  • • The license is valid for one (1) year from the date of purchase.
  • • During the active license period, the licensee is entitled to:
    • – Software updates
    • – Technical support
    • – Access to AI-powered features, including the Email Template Copilot
  • • AI features require a valid Google Gemini API key provided by the licensee. Any API usage costs are the sole responsibility of the licensee.

3. After License Expiration

  • • After the license period expires, the Software will continue to function in its installed version without interruption.
  • • AI-powered features will continue to operate provided that the licensee maintains a valid Gemini API key.
  • • The licensee will no longer receive software updates, new versions, or technical support.
  • • No refund will be issued for expired licenses.

4. Restrictions

  • • Redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, lease, or share the Software.
  • • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software.
  • • Remove or alter any copyright or license notices.
  • • Use the Software to create a competing product.

5. Ownership

The Software is licensed, not sold. All rights, title, and interest in the Software remain with Backentec.

6. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles.
